Where it comes from
Antigravity is distributed by Google and only by Google. This page tells you where that is and what your machine needs. It offers no file of its own.

Read this first
This site has no installer, no mirror and no “faster” copy.
There is exactly one legitimate place to get Antigravity, and it is Google's own domain. Anywhere else offering an Antigravity installer — including a site that looks like this one — is not Google, and you should assume the file is not what it claims to be.
The official download is at antigravity.google, and the setup documentation is at antigravity.google/docs. Check the domain in your address bar before you run anything.
You will never be asked for anything here
This site has no sign-in, sets no cookies and collects no payment. It will never ask for a Google password, a licence key, a card number or an API key. If a page claiming to be this one asks for any of those, it is not this one.
Requirements
Older Linux distributions are the usual sticking point: it is the glibc version, not the distribution name, that decides.

What your machine has to be
Google publishes a floor for each platform. Everything above the floor is supported; below it the application will not start, which is a clearer failure mode than most.
First run
Getting from installed to a first agent
Google's steps, with the bit each one glosses over.
Set it up and open it
If setup offers Replace, that is the expected prompt and not a warning about your existing editor.
Add a project
The folder icon with a plus, in the left sidebar. A local folder or a git repository both count.
Type a goal
Plain language, describing the outcome. Slash commands exist for specialised tasks once you know what you want.
Pick local mode or a new worktree
Worktree mode branches into a fresh git worktree instead of your checkout. On a first run, choose it.
What you are not told
Four honest gaps. A reference that only lists strengths is an advertisement.
Limitations
Where the published information stops
Quotas are not predictable. Google states the limits “are primarily determined to the degree we have capacity, and exist to prevent abuse”, and that the draw-down varies from prompt to prompt. You cannot budget a project in prompts.
No bring-your-own-key. The plans documentation says there is currently no support for using your own API key, and no organisational contract tier — enterprise access runs through the Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform instead.
The free position has already moved once. At launch, in November 2025, Google said Antigravity was available “in public preview, at no cost for individuals”. By May 2026 quotas had been restructured around the paid Google AI plans, with a smaller weekly allowance for everyone else. Treat any claim about permanent free access with suspicion, including one from a year ago.
Third-party model ratings are unpublished. Google gives speed, latency and intelligence words for its own models and none for the Claude and GPT options. We have not filled those in.
